Phase Transition Triggers

M.W. Gerbrandt hits 50% health -> Phase 2.

Method of Combating

This fight is very reinforcement heavy, so always make sure that you are killing reinforcements. The boss takes very little physical damage, so standard melee damage will be an ineffective way to kill him. Instead, use his own attacks against him. The poisons that he casts on you are spirit bound, and will damage whatever body your spirit is currently in. Also, this boss can be possessed under 2 scenarios. The first being after he casts his Tsunami attack, and the second being if you lure him to a geyser and it blows. The boss will be unable to attack when he is "tired", and makes it easy to possess him. Your strategy should include - focus all your damage on the reinforcements that appear, until the boss runs to a geyser or casts Tsunami. At this point you should run to the boss and possess him, poisoning him and doing damage until he kicks you out of his body. You will be constantly switching bodies with the poison affecting many different units.

Phase Transition Triggers

M.W. Gerbrandt hits 0% health -> End of Fight.

Method of Combating

This phase begins when you get the boss to 50% health. In this phase the boss becomes more melee oriented, with a new melee attack that poisons, and a ranged attack that brings the boss back to melee range. You will have to use a similar strategy to phase 1 to substantially hurt the boss, but you must be more careful about watching your own health meter when the boss is trying to engage you in melee combat.

End of Fight

shows in-game cinematic, gas cloud covers screen, Shaka gets captured by cyborg.
